Vicki Xafis
Dr Vicki Xafis is a Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Biomedical Ethics (CBmE), NUS. She is Programme Leader for the NMRC-funded SHAPES (Science, Health and Policy-relevant Ethics in Singapore) Initiative, which provides support and ethics expertise in biomedicine to policy-makers, government agencies, clinician-scientists, and other stakeholders. Vicki has a background in bioethics, linguistics, education and research and has considerable professional expertise in research & clinical ethics. Current projects include ethics in Big Data, Gene Modifying Technologies, and empirical research.
